Me and Päivi met in Cafe Villipuutarha for some business talk (our plan involves a lot of lace!) and a little nice chitchat too. They have the most enjoyable salads there, this one is shiitake mushrooms filled with sundried tomato mousse, really yummy!
Katja of Villipuutarha took 2 photos of us. This weird amalgam has the better one of both of us, since I made a silly face in the first pic and Päivi in the second one.
Just when we were about to leave, we saw Katja bringing choco mousse cake to some other customer, and we decided that there was no rush and one could certainly enjoy a slice of cake on top of lunch.
Can’t really describe how good that was, but you should try it if you visit Villipuutarha!
There’s always something new to see at Villipuutarha. I’m really into globes and maps, and look what pretty ones they have. The complicated stand on the left is great.
It snowed gently the whole day. Glittering snow powder in the air and blueness of the evening makes even the most boring gray housing blocks look homely and welcoming.
My photos don’t really catch the magical luminescent blue of a winter evenig in Helsinki, but it really is beautiful and magical. I feel as if I’m in a fairytale.
All the glittering lights and shiny snow create the feeling of walking inside a miniature model city.
